Head - Business Development & Marketing - Printing & Packaging Business (8-12 yrs)
Overall responsibility to grow the printing and packaging business for the company by planning and executing strategic growth initiatives, supporting sales by generating leads, and executing critical projects and initiatives. The person will be setting up the business development function and team in the company
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic initiatives :
- Prepare 3 year rolling and annual growth strategy for the business
- Work with senior leadership and provide recommendations to support business growth and profitability
- Identify, define, and articulate industry, market, and emerging trends and how they may affect current and future business
- Perform competitive and market analysis for key strategic choices, draw insights and implications for the company. Present findings and recommendations as appropriate
Driving Lead Generation :
- Prospect and discover key customer lead opportunities
- Provide outbound calls to new and existing customers via telephone and e-mail; cold call, cross-sell, and up-sell
- Demonstrate products to effectively match our product capabilities to the customer's needs and then remove all competitive obstacles to finalize an orders
- Follow-up and help close opportunities
- Proactive follow-up on Promotional campaign Leads and Redemptions
- Webinar/Seminar registration list follow-up. Active prospecting of Customer mail lists
Sales Support :
- Collaborate with internal and external team members to develop account specific strategies
- Work closely with teams to drive key initiatives
- Maintain and expand the company's database of customer contacts
- Support regular business and pipeline calls
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in business, economics or related field preferred
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting, strategy, business development, market/financial analysis
Knowledge and Skills required for the role :
- Excellent critical thinking, project management, analytical, communication, presentation skills
- Not afraid to - roll your sleeves up- and work with details as well as the big picture
