Head - Business Development - Insurance - West & South Zone (7-10 yrs)
Job Title: Head - Business Development - West and South Zone
Accountability
Client Handling
- Present our services effectively to enhance existing relationships.
- Work closely with internal team members to meet customer needs.
- Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.
Business Development Planning
- Procure feedback and information on market and creative trends.
- Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, schemes, and implementation channels.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, etc. that will lead to an increase in revenue.
New Business Development
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging the network.
- Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the clients' needs, concerns, and objectives.
Management and Research
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
- Forecast business targets, track and ensure they are met.
- Work with CRM team to ensure that client needs are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Conduct training and mentoring to team and other internal staff.
Qualifications
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills
- Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook Skills
- Years of relevant experience - Minimum 7 years ideally from a TPA, Insurance company or Insurance broking firm
