Head - Business Development (Only Consulting Experience)  The Role / Responsibilities :  Brief statement of the general nature and purpose of job. Keep it brief (no more than four sentences) : Building relationships and nurturing existing relationships with a view to identifying and converting opportunities. Build a franchise for the various service and product offerings. Represent IMaCS and Group ICRA in a manner that the clients and prospects have top of the mind recall.   Indicate function(s) that the position is responsible for : Lead generation, conversion, maintaining client relationships, Recruitment and mentoring resources for business development. Ensuring visibility of the company and improve brand positioning in the market.  Describe job as it exists now :   Provide inputs to the MD, COO and sector heads on the trends on the market  Building relationships with prospects in key segments such as banks and financial institutions, Government (central and select states), infrastructure developers, multilateral agencies, large corporates etc.  Identify new product and service opportunities based on market and customer feedback and expectations  Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.  Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational activities.  Review the business targets regularly with COO and the MD  Prepare the business development plan and detail implementation strategies in discussion with the COO and Sector heads  Identify resource requirements, including headcount, IT and other resources required for business development  Build a strong funnel of prospects and leads and review the same on a weekly basis along with the COO and the MD  Provide inputs on proposals and bids and finalise commercial quotes in discussion with the COO/Sector Heads  Ensure that the business development collaterals are updated regularly; establish a process for their regular updation  Review the billings of the various practices along with the COO regularly   Participate as speaker in reputed national and international forums   Qualifications:  - Degree in Engineering/Economics/Commerce (preferably relevant to the sector) with post graduate qualification in Management/Chartered Accountancy from Premier institute.  - Minimum experience of 15 years  - Strong inter personal skills and ability to deal with people with a sense of empathy and maturity  - Good leadership skills and ability to mentor highly skilled resources  - Strong propensity for sales and relationship management   - Should have the ability to connect with prospects and clients at the highest level
