A leading wealth management firm is seeking to hire the undersaid Head Broking Key Responsibilities: Strategic Contribution : - Contribute to strategy design by providing relevant insights and market information - Support the execution of the strategy by leading and participating in key projects - Ensure that operating plans are aligned to the strategy and strategic messaging is clear and consistent, both internally and externally - Contribute to building organizational culture by exemplifying the values and principles of the Charter - Contribute to external positioning and brand-building by participating in networking and PR activities Financial : - Responsible for achieving targets based on acquisition and revenue generation via equity. - Conduct primary market investigation to identify timely and marketable equity investment ideas - Create and curate a robust and dynamic suite of Equity based investment recommendations, price targets and sector views - Develop investment models and screening tools that identify trading strategies that help manage portfolio risk. Client : - Represent the asset class to clients and ensure a high degree of client engagement and satisfaction by maintaining high standards of conduct and service in the delivery of the Equity proposition - Achieve good client outcomes through proper client profiling to Identify client needs and provide corresponding Equity based investment solutions. - Articulate investment recommendations to Wealth Managers and Portfolio Managers for onward delivery to clients - Obtain and apply client insights to aid the enhancement of client experience and to improve the service delivery model Risk and Governance : - Comply with regulations and internal policies and procedures to ensure that the firm achieves the desired assurance, audit and regulatory review and rating - Contribute to systemization and platform strengthening to achieve scale and sustainability - Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information - Manage financial, regulatory, and reputational risk for the firm and its clients prudently - Review operational controls periodically to ascertain adequacy and effectiveness. People : - Foster teamwork and collaboration at all levels of the organization - Spend time on knowledge enhancing initiatives and secure mandatory certifications and licenses, wherever applicable; adhere to the personal development plan - As a people manager: - Recruit the right candidates at the right time for Sanctum - Ensure high performance management standards and promptly take remedial actions where appropriate - Ensure that staff retention is within high-performing-team standards - Maintain a high degree of staff engagement and satisfaction - Contribute to the development of skills and capabilities within the team and the organization
