Head - Branding & Communications - Educational Institution - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS (10-15 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Work with leadership in breaking down institution Vision and strategy, design campaigns to communicate it to various interest groups, and collect feedback to tune future communication strategy.

- Understand and identify the key differentiators and positioning of institution in the education space.

- Design and execute an Annual Public Relations, Branding and

- Communications plan to build awareness of the differentiators and reinforce the positioning of .

- Devise a marketing plan, Identify, on-board external resources, and agencies as required for executing the marketing plan.

- Design and implement strategic internal and external communication across various media platforms, including social media, to propagate vision, mission and achievements of the institute. Ensure brand message is consistent across all channels of communications.

- Engage with faculty, students, and leadership to create and manage the content pipeline to cover on-campus events, institute/faculty/alumni achievements & thought leadership, campus life, placement outcomes, innovation/incubation, etc. Create/sustain internal awareness of the need for visibility of the achievements.

- Grow and manage reputation of the institute, anticipate any challenges or risks, and devise mitigation strategies. Craft a robust framework for crisis management.

- Work on speaking opportunities for key leadership personnel across media and relevant sectoral events and conferences.

- Develop standards and process for internal and external communications

- Periodically collect feedback on brand perception and image through internal and external surveys.

- Assist leadership in drafting communication for internal purposes and with government and other regulatory bodies.

- Manage relationships with press to ensure coverage of announcements, events, and other important happenings in the institute.

- Execute a multi-channel campaign to ensure growing pipeline of applications for admissions at all levels.

- Be responsible for deploying the branding and communications budget while adhering to the processes of the institute.

While the role is based in one of our campuses, travel will be required, mainly to the other campuses.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- At least 10 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or branding, with a significant part of it being for a complex, high involvement product/service and an emphasis on content marketing.

- MBA and an undergraduate degree from a reputed institution.

- Knowledge of multi-channel marketing platforms and experience in running performance marketing campaigns and organic social media.

- Must be a collaborative team player who can quickly build relationships with various stakeholders across our campuses.

- Experience of having worked with public relations, creative and digital agencies.

- Excellent communication & language skills and a refined sense of aesthetics.
