ROLE OBJECTIVE :
As Brand Head :
The incumbent:
- Ensures that the brand equity is nurtured & nourished in keeping with strategic objectives.
- Assists in developing and executes the marketing & branding strategy to improve market share and reach.
- Defines the brand & its proposition & activation, its advertising concept, pricing, packaging, and promotion.
- Co-ordinates with sales department to implement & monitor marketing initiatives for the brand.
- Planning, strategizing and ensuring the implementation of the strategies to achieve the brand objectives.
As Merchandising Head :
- Develop competitive & sustainable category strategy for profitable growth.
- Create the framework for smooth functioning of the category to attain maximum merchandising efficiency
- People development - To build and develop a stable and a strong functional team
- Cultivate vendor support & engagement with the business to achieve sustainable margin & sales growth.
- Review to ensure that the plans reflect the local consumer needs coupled with the competitive scenario and our own development plans
- Ensure all market conditions for upcoming season are assessed by category & optimized (supply, quality, pricing)
