Head- Body Engineering-Sheet Metal and Plastic Components

- Position is based in its R&D in North and will directly report to Head R&D and will have a team of about 120 people with 7 direct reportees.

- Develops and executes COC strategy (technology, core competencies) together with Section Heads compliant to HMC long-term strategy In respect to project timeline schedule based upon all product development.

- Commits on delivering technical scope in accordance with CTQ target agreement in respect to design process and criteria depending for all product development.

- Representing the COC in the R&D management circle for management of external vendor for product delivery in given timeline and cost.

- Deploys resources, develops and ensures usage of proper workflows and processes within his COC for identifying problem and providing solutions for all problems relating to body parts during design and subsequent stages.

- Ensures communication and proper workflow within and across COCs and functions for creating new process and criteria for simulation and testing area for all product development.

- Represents COC internally and externally for developing LEAP/LEAD ideas and R-flow concepts

- Incumbent should have exposure in Design, Development, Simulation and Testing of sheet metal and plastic parts of Auto OEM.

Education Qualification :

Preferred : B Tech- M.Tech with about 18-28 years of post qualification experience with Auto OEM R&D.
