Reporting directly to the Global COO, you will be responsible for -
The Global Head of Billing Operations is responsible for coordinating the billing operations across our global markets including:
The role will be responsible for end to end billing performance of all payment channels ensuring that the billing process is run correctly each day, according to the agreed billing parameters (as agreed with our partners and local markets)
- communicating the performance of billing to stakeholders & highlighting variances to expected performance and RCA for these variances
- optimising the reporting on billing to provide all stakeholders with up to date, accurate information around billing performance for each market, business model; through working with the reporting team and stakeholders to understand their requirements
- managing the process for incident identification and resolution and coordinating activity with the markets, technology teams and suppliers/partners
- optimising revenue across our customers by identifying potential improvements to the billing process, and working with Product and Technology to enable these improvements
- performing revenue assurance activities including monthly reconciliation of supplier invoices, building reconciliation controls (e.g. rating & billing controls), and managing disputes over invoice variances.

- Over 10 years' experience in billing operations or related operational experience
- Experience in establishing strong operational processes and systems to enable an organization to deliver excellent billing at scale across multiple geographies
- Strong leadership abilities
- Strong self-motivation
- Passionate interest in using innovation to fuel financial inclusion - by disrupting the global insurance and health industries
- Experience ideally in a start-up or dynamic operational environment where you were happy to problem solve and devise solutions
Profile
Looking for a senior professional for Head of Billing Operations to be based out of Bangalore
- This person will be senior most person in India and set up billing team and processes
- This person will be responsible for end to end billing performance across all payment channels across 15 markets
They will ensure performance improvement in billing processes working closely with product and tech teams
- Around 12 to 15 years of experience in billing or related operations for telecom or credit card organization
- Strong experience in AP/AR, reconciliation etc. managing large volumes
- Positive attitude with strong cultural fitment
- Excellent commercial acumen with strong process orientation
- Ability to manage stakeholders in an international environment and work closely with technology and market teams
