Position : AVP- Head - Financial & Regulatory Reporting

Job Location : Mumbai ( Chembur)

Roles and Responsibilities :

This position will be reporting into CFO and will be responsible for Financial Reporting (under Indian GAAP as well as Ind-AS (IFRS)) & Regulatory Reporting to RBI.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Implementation of Ind-AS as per applicable timelines for the bank

- Management of accounts including effective implementation of accounting policies & processes

- Preparation of all financial statements and accounts for the audit and RBI reporting as per Ind-AS

- Timely and accurate month and quarterly close

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of analysis and data integrity

- Interpret new Ind-AS requirements and apply in preparation of reporting schedules and related disclosures. The processes require sound understanding of Chart of accounts and Reporting.

- Lead and execute process improvement initiatives within the team and improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Implementation of Ind-AS as per applicable timelines for the bank

- Management of accounts including effective implementation of accounting policies & processes (both Indian GAAP and Ind-AS)

- Enable preparation of all financial statements and accounts for the audit as per Ind-AS / Indian GAAP

- Timely and accurate month and quarterly close

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of analysis and data integrity

- Responsible for review and preparation of various period end accounting journals

- Ensuring listing compliances, both for debt as well as equity listing

- Responsible for timely regulatory compliances (including regulatory returns) related to Finance & Accounts department

- Lead and execute process improvement initiatives within the team and improve efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Chartered Accountant or equivalent degree with 10-15 years of experience, preferably in banking industry

- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems

- Good accounting knowledge is must (both Indian GAAP & Ind-AS). Should have worked on Financial Reporting profile; Knowledge of Regulatory Returns/compliances with RBI would be an added advantage.

- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Efficient leadership skills
