Head/AVP - Accounts - Heavy Civil/Infrastructure Firm (12-16 yrs)

AVP - Accounts (Reporting to CFO)

Job responsibilities :-

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, Inventory/Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

- Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for all the sites.

- Head and take the reporting from the accounts team of all the sites/projects. (Payable/Receivables/GL/etc.)

- Scrutiny of ledger accounts, monthly closing of Accounts. (SAP-GL Scrutiny, P.O/S.O )

- Fund utilization & Monthly Requirement Report

- Analyze variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions.

- Preparation of Balance Sheet & Profit and Loss Account. Co-ordination with statutory/Internal auditors at HO for timely conduct of audit.

- MIS & Product Costing Report on Monthly basis.

- Monitoring all statutory compliance like TDS, VAT, GST. Excise etc.

- Monthly Cash-Flow

- Preparation of Budget.

- Integrates and trains new staff while leading the continued professional development of the existing team.

- Provide proactive / unsolicited consultation, interpretation and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisions

- Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks

- Ensures proper accounting in accordance with Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as local statutory requirements.

Requirement-

- At least 12-15 years of experience in Heavy Civil / Infrastructure companies.
