Head/Associate Director - Technology Innovation - Workforce & Productivity Optimization Process (10-16 yrs)

Position Description :

- The Technology Innovation Associate Director Workforce & Productivity Optimization will serve as the CTO for the team (reporting to the report to the Workforce CTO) and contribute to the technology innovation agenda and roadmap for the Workforce & Productivity Optimization offering.

- The CTO will work closely with the Global Business Leader, and Offering Lead to align on strategies for the enablement of the business and its offerings and to create new and innovative offerings enabled by technology. The CTO will also facilitate a functioning feedback loop between sales, delivery, and technology service providers- both Accenture and market based.

- This role will support the development of the technology enablement strategy for Operations Transition processes. The selected candidate will work closely with the Transition Regional Leads and Transition Innovation Lead to align on strategies and to create new and innovative offerings enabled by technology, and will collaborate with other key team members across the business, including Transition Leads, Customer Experience Leads and Technology for Operations; Product Owners, Delivery and Cross-Offering CTO. This role will support sales, business development, and innovation program management activities as needed.

- This role will engage in the full innovation and technology management lifecycle (visioning & ideation, concept development, commercialization/scaling, and ongoing product management including learning enablement). This responsibility will include the development of both the rolling 3-year roadmap for the business but also the operating roadmap for the business for each fiscal year including required funding investment and resource plans.

- The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating across the Accenture Innovation Network, leveraging resources with special skills to develop assets in support of the Workforce & Productivity Optimization business.

- This role will assist in managing innovation funding support and planning annual financial recoveries for technology related expenses and managing these budgets to target.

Responsibilities (Include scope of work, supervisory responsibilities, impact of role, etc.) :


- Provide support for Operations Workforce technology strategy and roadmap

- Contribute to proposed investment plan to enable the specific tech strategy and roadmap, including managing approved investments through their lifecycle

- Research and assess related technologies with potential to integrate those technologies into full solutions to support market development.

- Support select sales opportunities by providing technology and innovation thought leadership and support. Develop assets and provide relevant information to enable solutioning and sales teams

- Influence and enable Accenture and its clients to adapt and embrace new business strategies in a disruptive world.

- Communicate regularly with account delivery teams to gain feedback on current tool effectiveness, challenges, future needs, and opportunities

- Lead the fundamental shift in how the Operations Transition team applies key technology innovations to deliver increased value and business outcomes for our clients during Transition

- Influence / enable Accenture and its clients to adapt new business strategies in a disruptive world

- Establish and maintain an ecosystem of partners for digital front office technology

- Participate in internal and external organizations related to functional, technical or industry area of expertise to enhance Accenture's brand recognition

- Build strong internal and external networks for the interchange of ideas between Accenture and decision makers, thought leaders, and the wider professional community

Must Have Skills/Qualifications (Type of work experience, skills, residency requirement, etc.) :


- Experience with Workforce/Workflow technology

- Deep experience in technology to deliver specific Workforce services.

- Experience with AI and Analytics within Workforce Space.

- Client facing consulting experience with business development accountabilities desired

- Acumen in new product/capability development

- Ability to identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility and create solutions in situations that require in-depth analysis and knowledge of organizational objectives

- Ability to learn new business processes and software applications quickly

- Strong leadership skills, including proven ability to attract, build, mentor, and direct a high-performing, cohesive team

- Ability to interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills

- Gravitas while working with VP and C-level stakeholders

- Experience driving transformational change

- Excellent organization/time management and problem-solving skills

- Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal clients

- Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers

Nice to Have Skills/Qualifications (Include other skills that would be helpful but are not a requirement of the position) :


- Experience designing end user requirements, developing product roadmaps, and managing packaged software implementations

- Experience creating, managing, and tracking investment business cases

- Solid multi-phase, multi-release program and project management skills

- Ability to identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility and create solutions in situations that require in-depth analysis and knowledge of organizational objectives

- Vendor assessment, onboarding, and management experience


Experience (Preferred years of experience/skill proficiency) :


- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a consulting and/or workforce/Workflow function, including process and technology transformation programs.

- Minimum of 2 years supporting the Workforce Business Process Services business

Travel Requirement/ Shift Hours :

(Other special circumstances) This position requires may require occasional travel through the year, with a degree of unpredictability, for client sales and other offering related activities.

Flexible Work Arrangement (Ability to job share, work part time or on a flexible schedule?) :


- Position is flexible in supporting - work from home- when not traveling to client sites, as allowed within local office policies and guidelines. Flexible work arrangements can be discussed.
