Arts Head

Role Objectives :

- To develop arts related specific skills in these children which lead to better employability opportunities for them in future and keeps them away from child labour

- To ensure proper implementation of programme to build the confidence and self-esteem of the BMC school Children and recommit them to staying in school.

Responsibilities :

Planning & Implementation :

- Responsible for designing of programmes and modules aimed at enhancing the life skills of Arts academy (Music, Dance & Theatre) children

- Responsible for job placement programmes & tie-ups for vocational opportunities

- Plan for establishing specialized scholarship programme

- Review the database of the kids availing training & provide inputs for documentation of the best practices in programme activities

Monitoring & Evaluation :

- Ensure implementation of approved plans & monitor programme performance as per expected standard & undertake activity planning & scheduling to avoid time & cost over runs in implementing programmes

- Ensure monitoring of both financial & physical progress of programmes on monthly basis

Academy :

- Create meaningful and sustainable opportunities for Arts academy students

- Create and promote excellence through student's participation at state, national & international level competitions.

- Responsible for managing logistic and Operation of events

- Researching and keeping self & team abreast of current changes within the Arts arena including development and marketing.

- Responsible for overall coordination & supervision of all activities of the team

- Preparation of annual plan and budget for approval. Ensure proper utilization of funds

Stake holder Management :

- Build relationship with the trainers and networking with the Arts fraternity, to bring new partnerships

- Liaising & partnering with key stakeholders for sponsorships, promoting academy & vocational opportunities

- Assist the fundraising team in drafting proposals, designing presentations

Requirement :

- Any graduation. NSD graduate will be an advantage

- Total experience of at least 7 years with proven working experience in the field of Arts

- Should be trained in either Music, Dance or theater
