Head Architecture In this role of Head - Architecture [Mumbai] in Design department, you would be focused on Quality Of Design, Interdepartmental Collaboration, Project Management, Site Execution & Process Implementation for all projects in the Mumbai region. You will be responsible for the Quality, Creativity and Delivery of the projects, along with revenue generated and customer satisfaction. You would have a strong team of Architects to support planning and delivery. This role reports to the Chief Designer Quality of Design - Work closely with top leadership to create the product concept and design brief - Communicate relevant specifications to the team and ensure timely decision making at every stage towards project delivery schedule - Be cognizant of industry highlights, global standards and best practices. Strive to adopt the same in our projects. - Value additions in space planning and design. - Interdepartmental Collaboration - Anchor close coordination among all departments and the external consultants working on the project - Review drawings and facilitate information flow between various departments for marketing to align the marketing - Maintain close communication and address all highlighted issues/ concerns in a timely manner - Deliverables to Project Management at all sites - Perform design reviews, evaluate detailed design documents and ensure adherence to company standards - Evaluate performance of consultants to ensure adherence to quality standards and drive timely execution of all deliverables Site Execution : - Conduct risk assessment and assist in risk management by collaborating with other departments. Ensure the team works with relevant stakeholders to resolve any bottlenecks at sites. - Inspect project execution at sites and validate adherence to the designs - Team Management - Foster an environment to maximize team performance - Lead the team effectively and offer guidance in their day-to-day work as well as long term career growth Skills: Strong Communication, Achievement Orientation, Intellectual Excellence, People Orientation, Detail Orientation and Analytical Skills Qualification: Bachelor of Architecture. Practice: : 20+ years of overall experience out of which 5-8 years of experience working in a design consultancy
