This role is for Head of Shared Services, Application & Production.
The role mandate is to manage Application support teams covering 50+ business critical applications requiring strong collaboration with the global teams and the other technology teams in Bank's Captive. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled candidate to join a very dynamic company and work in an exciting environment. Application suites include standard banking software's & in-house applications.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
1) Manage a team of 100+ resources
2) Work closely with local & global management at operational & strategic level.
3) To follow-up and ensure teams provide high level expertise in technical and functional support to end-users.
4) To be the first point-of-contact and handle all escalations.
5) Meet the objectives set by Reporting Manager (Onshore and offshore) so as to meet organization goals
6) Manage production support with strong ITIL framework governance
7) Ensure strong Governance around key budgetary metrics
8) Quality Control framework around Incident, Problem & Change management
9) Driving Problem management/service review calls for any major issues and tracking actions until closure
10) Experience in Vendor Management and Client Facing roles.
11) Strong problem solving & technical skills coupled with confident decision making for enabling effective solutions leading to customer satisfaction and low operational costs.
12) Project scoping, estimation, budgeting and tracking.
13) Driving Production Management forums for discussions on recurring issues and high priority incidents.
14) Driving Operations Efficiency Program to reduce operating costs
15) Setting clear goals, conducting appraisals and providing feedback to team members.
16) Preparing project plans, project metrics and status reports senior management.
17) Holding regular monthly service review meetings with the application business stakeholders on production stability and prioritization of issues
18) Follow critical migrations - Infrastructure, Application, Cloud etc.
19) Disaster recovery and business continuity management
20) Be a part of all Critical Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management calls
21) Be a key enabler agent for Reduction in Incidents and Problems. And also for a robust Change Management.
