Job Description / Responsibilities: - Head of Business Applications and Software Delivery for the global organization. - Responsible for the entire Application Life Cycle - strategy, design, development, rollout or implementation of programs, products and services. - Responsible for driving the effort behind processes and strategies, which would enable speedy, quality and smooth delivery of software. - Responsible for streamlining development, test, support functions and providing leadership to the entire delivery team. - Responsible for recruitment and retention of the best people, people/morale issues, appraisals & performance management of the Delivery organization. - Creating an overall culture and fabric to have sharp, consistent execution skills. - Develop and manage technical and business relationships with partners to complement and extend the capabilities of the organization - Responsible for ERP, SCM, CRM, BI, CPM, Retail Management Solution, Reverse Auction solutions and other business critical applications roll out both off-the-shelf packaged and/or developed. Technical Skills - .NET, VB, Java development tools on Windows, Linux and Unix environments. Oracle D2K is additional plus. - Application Server environments for multi-tier architecture application development for both Java &amp; .NET development - Database such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL etc - Web development and web Architecture applications - EAI tools - EDI/XML/Web Services &amp; SOA - Should have executed at least one full life cycle ERP implementation such as SAP or Oracle 11i in the capacity as Head of the Project. - Business Intelligence, OLAP and ETL tools - CRM - Full understanding of SDLC, Staged Delivery and Application Life Cycle models - Excellent Project Management skills. PMI certification is a definite plus. - Full understanding of Quality Control &amp; testing processes and procedures - Exposure to Quality Assurance and Process Maturity models such as ISO, CMMI. - Desirable Retail Management, Supply Chain and CPM applications
