Job Description

Experience : 12-15 years preferably from banking and financial services

Job Purpose :

- To drive the day-to-day analytical solutions and explore solutions to address Organization's problems catering to various functions.


- He/She is also tasked with the management, and long-term prioritization of the business's overall analytical needs, and opportunities and setting up a data-driven culture in the Organization.


- The incumbent is to enable company to make better decisions in a timely manner that improves the quality and efficiency of running the lending business.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership Responsibilities :

- To promote a data-driven culture in the organization.

- To create an inclusive culture for all the team members and support & mentor them to deliver all their analytical capabilities.

- Ability to influence peers and other stakeholders about insights gathered through analytics, for effective actions.

Managerial Responsibilities :

- To own and monitor all analytical activities of the data analytics team.

- To build and maintain an analytics-driven project optimization.

- To guide the team in research, development, and implementation of data systems that lead to improved business performance.

Functional Responsibilities :

- Data-driven Innovations and strategies for customer management across the lifecycle. The life cycle includes Risk Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Portfolio Management and Collection, etc.

- Partner with the leadership team to identify and execute high-impact opportunities by leveraging customer or prospect data. The data includes in-house data or external data (Ex. Various bureau-level data).

- Create and maintain reports and dashboards daily, weekly, or monthly to facilitate faster decision-making across PAN India.

- Develop and implement advanced analytics approaches which will help the organization to implement real-time decisions. Areas of expertise required are Statistical modeling, Forecasting, Segmentation, Hypothesis testing, and so on.

- Should display strong storytelling and articulation skills to convert analytical output into clear, concise and persuasive insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical audience.

- Should have experience in the mortgage loan industry and knowledge on the rural market is an added advantage.

- Should be able to translate complex strategic challenges into relevant analytical framework.

Job Requirements :

Functional Competencies :

- Should have worked on various Analytical, Statistical, and ML procedures like Automation of MIS/Dashboards

- Any Analytical findings in form of a deck

- Identifying any Solution, which can move to BAU through automation

- Complex Analysis for functions as per functional expertise

- Awareness of Macro Economic data (open source) and how to utilize it for the enterprise.

- Understanding of hypothesis testing to prove or falsify a business claim

- Understanding of dimension reduction techniques

- Understanding of Statistical and/or Machine learning algorithms

- Understand how to measure the algorithm performance and monetize Forecasting procedure

- Segmentation by using clustering procedures

- Understanding on API based on real-time implementation of scorecards

- Understand how to make a solution scalable and sellable

- Should have hands-on knowledge of SQL, Python/R, Excel, PPT Knowledge of SAS, Angus / Altair Knowledge will be an advantage

- Should have an experience in Agile framework and must have prior experience as a Scrum Lead Should be able to provide hands-on technical support to the team as required.
