Head - Analytics - BFSI

Experience Level - 10 to 15 years

Location: Pune/Johannesburg

Travel: The role will involve significant travel to South Africa and other African nations

Responsibilities -

- Leading the analytics engagement for a large banking client.

- Define and deliver analytics strategy for the retail and business banking portfolio

- Lead a team for 10-15 analysts in an off-shore/on-shore model to execute analytics solutions in marketing and operations functions

- Align with client strategy, define business requirements/outcomes, create projects, manage communication and delivery

- Collaborate with client technology teams already engaged with the client to maximize value delivered through analytics interventions

A successful candidate will potentially have

- 10-15 years of experience in delivering analytics led consulting projects for banks and financial services organizations

- A strong background in developing insights solutions, predictive models and strategies for marketing and operations

- A master's degree (or equivalent) in business management, analytics or business intelligence

- Strong analytical thinking and hands-on experience in problem solving

- Strong stake holder management, delivery management, project management and communication skills

- A good understanding of banking functions

- A good understanding of database systems used in the banking industry
