Responsibilities: 1. Manages multiple divisions in the Alternative Investments department; Key functional responsibilities include overseeing hedge fund trade execution, wires and accounting entries, reconciliation, partner services, project management, and financial management 2. Responsible for the development and enforcement of controls within the operations of the unit, ensuring that the control and risk environment in the area is at the highest possible level. 3. Work with technology partners to automate the operations of the unit(s). Directly oversee automation projects and ensure targets are met. 4. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise 5. Makes staffing decisions, manages expenses and salary review process for the division 6. Participates in developing division strategic plan and sets goals and priorities based on the direction set for the unit; follows through to ensure that objectives are met 7. Seasoned leader with extensive business experience, and broad functional expertise, with focus on proactive strategic leadership 8. Responsible for managing multiple units or functions through the direct management of a group of managers. Experience Required: A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required. Extensive experience in the management of a Hedge Funds, Fund Administration, Fund Accounting, or related discipline.
