About the organization :

- A leading global supplier of precision metrology equipment for shop-floor inspection, measurement and process control solutions, provides:

- Gauging and compensation systems for grinders and other machine tools;

- Manual gauges, sensors, probes and other gauge components;

- Automatic measurement and inspection systems;

- Equipment for leak detection, non-destructive testing, functional checks

About the role :

- The Service Manager is responsible of defining the expected volume of service activities, the resources necessary to cope with it and of the co-ordination of all service-related matters within the Distributor organisation.

- The Service Manager also must have specific knowledge on both Equipment and Customers, thus making the service department a valuable "supplier of technical support" for the other Company functions involved in the Equipment development.

- Coordinate with Sales Team, supporting them to gain customer requirements, aligning to customer expectations and the needs of those working with customers.

- Building sales strategy & commercial readiness capability to ensure success in a rapidly changing environment.

The Service technical support is particularly important for the installation phase (of the Equipment development process), information feedback (required for a continuous improvement of the Equipment quality)
