Head - Affiliate & Referral Marketing - Travel/Hospitality (5-18 yrs)

Description :

- Take ownership of the affiliate marketing program - defined by the monetary incentivization of individuals to utilize their networks to acquire new Rally OurBus customers

- Sync with the C-level executives on the the full scope of Rally's mission and their vision for the the future of our marketing strategy

- Build the nascent marketing group by recruiting the first 100 affiliates yourself and then hiring a team to scale

- Grow our influencer efforts by delivering our next 100 million impressions through your own negotiations

- Work to meet company goals by synthesizing your prior experience in the space with the current marketing efforts

- Utilize our social media channels to attract additional candidates for our affiliate and influencer programs

- Internalize the affiliate marketing efforts utilized previously, the lessons learned, and the data collected

- Identify the list of affiliate types and the prioritization to create a rollout plan with the budgets provided

- Work with the integrated marketing team to create campaigns to reach potential new affiliates

- Work with the product team to create apps that effectively empower the affiliates to monetize their respective audiences

- Work with content marketing to create materials for distribution to potential and existing affiliates, with variants on every type of affiliate

- Work with brand marketing to ensure that all messaging represents the company correctly

- Reflect the company's ambitions to potential affiliates to drive revenue through leveraging Rally's platform

- Evaluating new initiatives, opportunities and deals for strategic alignment with the affiliate marketing program

- Lead affiliate process, managing each step from strategy/planning, pipeline development, prospecting, outreach, terms negotiation, contract drafting and negotiation, and implementation

- Driving revenue growth through the creation of new affiliate program distribution methods

- Build and drive a team working together to secure goals that are aligned with the department's

Principal Responsibilities :

- Be the head of the program and create processes that manage each affiliate relationship like a partner

- Lead strategic planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones on an ongoing basis

- Understand needs of each affiliate, categorizing the types in order to customize the program as needed

- Manage a team that will develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified affiliates and prospects to meet and exceed financial goals

- Identify, win, and retain affiliate; build and maintain client relationships from initial pitch, through transition/onboarding, onto long-term engagements

- Maintain a highly visible and positive presence for Rally and its clients by networking at key events, etc

- Goal is to sign up [#] of affiliates in [#] categories

Key Requirements :

- Sophisticated understanding of the affiliate marketing: tactics, trends, software, and best practices

- At least 5 years of managing a team to attain quotas and goals

- Existing relationships and credibility within defined verticals including travel, events, sports, music industry

- Strong goal-orientated with proven experience in building a pipeline of new business and proven track-recording in overachieving set revenue targets

- Has an innate desire and skill in building deep trusted relationships/partnerships with affiliates

- Solid written and verbal communication skills including creation of convincing and strategic sales approaches, proposals, documentations and presentations

- Approach problems in a solution oriented way

- Excellent negotiation skills

Ideal requirement s:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business (MBA a plus)

- Experience in a start-up environment

- Roll up your sleeves mentality

- Experience with showing consistent and large-scale results

- Passion for Sports, Travel, Music, and/or other community-oriented groups
