Accounts & Finance Head - CA - Manufacturing

KRA:

- Achieve Accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plan and reviews; preparing and completing action plans for cost reduction and cost control, resolving problems identifying trends, determining system improvement, implementing change.

- Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

- Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses, coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data, preparing special reports monthly operating Reports (MOR) and Plant performance Report.

- Maintains accounting controls by defining accounting policies and procedures.

- Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.

- Suggesting, preparing and implementing systems, policies and procedures to facilitate internal financial controls.

- Assisting in statutory and internal audits and preparing action plan to resolve the issues/ concerns areas.

- Handle and avoids legal challenges w.r.t to Excise, Custom and Service Tax, GVAT and CST, Income Tax and enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.

- Manpower planning for Accounts Department Team and their Training & Development, Goal setting, performance review, IDP Development & Review, ESS Action Plan implementation and other HR development initiatives as per management planning.
