Job Purpose :

Management, control and governance of the Accounting Operations function, which consists of Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cross Border Recharges, Indirect taxes, eSettlements, T&E and Group Delegated Authority system.

Key Responsibilities :

- Overseeing and providing management support for Accounts Payable, CBR, Fixed Assets, Indirect taxes, eSettlements, T&E, Group Delegated Authority system

- Ensuring that an effective system of financial and operational controls are in place and is working as intended.

- Ensuring that a continuous process and efficiency improvement culture is embedded within the function and an established process exists to constantly identify and implement improvement opportunities

- Monitoring to ensure that the standards of customer service provided by the function consistently meet or exceed the requirements set under the SLA agreed with the customers.

- Liaising with customers on the periodic review and re-negotiation of SLA and any other related performance and quality measures.

- Managing the production of reports for analyzing the Bank's expenses and highlighting areas where improvements can be made in policy to increase productivity, and/or reduce or control expenses.

- Helping to ensure that the assets of the Bank are adequately protected and appropriately insured by maintaining adequate inventory control logs and providing detailed reports to each businesses/countries as required.

- Working with other Finance Service Organization function managers to ensure proper running of the centre and support for the Head, Finance Service Organization in ensuring a high level of service for the countries/businesses served.

- Managing the team and exercising the human resources skills and techniques necessary to attract and retain key finance professionals in these roles.

- Focus on a continuous journey of driving change in the unit to ensure the efficient management and operation of best in class processes across all the global hubs of Finance Service Organization.
