HDFC Life - Senior Manager - Agency Sales (7-14 yrs)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To contribute to the growth agenda of the channel through profitable business and increased market share. Facilitate the channel growth by providing support in the form of analytics and strategy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic business planning and profitable growth
- Develop sales strategy for the channel in alignment with the organizational strategy to meet annual targets
- Set up an ecosystem to service financial consultants and address their queries quickly and appropriately
- Establish high standards of sales quality, as measured by productivity, customer complaints and repeat business
- Implement targeted product mix, mobility usage, and other specific initiatives, etc) as per the organizational strategy
- Acquire knowledge of local market and industry-wide dynamics to strategically improve productivity of the local region (through targeting specific segments, pushing specific products or recruiting specific types of FLS and FCs)
- Ensure periodic review and design improvement plans based on best practices in the industry
- Permeate sales reporting mechanisms that align to the company norm
- Sales Strategy and planning
- Cascade and align business plans for the channel and ensure effective implementation of the same
- Driving organization/channel level projects
- To be the key resource for the achievement of business plan by providing superior channel understanding and appropriate support
- Contribute to organizational understanding of product and industry dynamics
- Achievement of sales objectives
- Evaluate opportunities to maximize volume and value growth for the Channel to enable and achieve the same
- Ongoing monitoring and review against plan and take appropriate course corrections in focus and Key result areas of the Channel
- Evaluate opportunity areas within own channel and acquire understanding of benchmark practices and adapt and adopt best practices
Relationship management :
- Hierarchy management of the Agency field
- Act as liaison for channel leadership for all their MIS requirements
- Understand concerns and queries of Channel leadership team and resolve them at the earliest
- Provide strategic inputs to Channel Head on Key initiatives of Channel
- Program Management
- Manage the end to end FC & FLS programs
- Work closely with other departments in designing the enablers
- Handle all sales queries wrt the enabler
- Work closely with the marketing departments to design collaterals to drive the programs

4. Good Know-how of systems and MIS
5. Proficient in PowerPoint & Excel along with good presentation skill
6. Good Communication Skills are an essential to liaison with various dept. and our Field Team
7. Interpersonal skills & proficiency in data management
8. Understanding of the digital ecosystems
9. 7 + yrs years of experience in Agency Channel Strategic planning required.
