HDFC Bank - Unit Head - Wholesale Credit

Job Purpose:

1. To direct and lead a team of credit approvers in assessing, evaluating and reviewing credit proposals as appropriate.

2. Complete ownership of assigned portfolio of accounts including regular monitoring, early warning identifications, deferral tracking and working on appropriate account strategy in conjunction with business and credit teams in line with banks' risk appetite

3. To manage the work load of the teams and provide guidance on above. Timely intervention in case of escalations and proactively ensure that these are addressed.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Appraisal of Proposal

2. Portfolio Monitoring

3. Manintaing the defined credit TAT

4. Thinking, evolving and making significant changes in the processes, techniques, methods so as to save time, energy and money

5. Interdepartmental collaboration

6. Supervisory/Leadership responsibilities

Education Qualification :

- CA / MBA

Experience Required :

1. Experience of 10 years and above in credit risk management in wholesale banking from reputed financial house

2. Exposure to banking is preferable
