Job Role - BTG Support Vertical - Team Leader ( Digital Identity Management Review)

Brief Job description:

- This position of Team Leader - BTG WBO is to lead a team of professionals who will ensure that the Identity Life Cycle Management of our bank is managed as per standards and as per the norms and guidelines rolled out by various regulatory authorities. They need to ensure that timely and uninterrupted support given to the stake holders to help them in carrying out their day to day activities with efficiency and agility.

Function Level Job Description:

Compliance Management

- The team leader is responsible for reviewing all the processes related to Identity Management on a daily basis.

- The Team Leader manages all documentation and coordinates with external & internal agencies such as Statutory Inspectors, External agencies for SOX compliance verification, Internal System Audit team, Internal ISG team etc.

- The candidate is also responsible for testing and documenting the processes covered under Risk Control Matrix (RCM). This is a yearly exercise which is done and the test results are reviewed by external auditors.

- The incumbent also helps in providing reports / extracts (data extracts in coordination with IT) to Audit, Finance and Branch Control unit etc. which in turn helps them in carrying proper audit, monitor suspense accounts, support RBI AFI requirements etc.

- The Team Leader is responsible for all audit and regulatory compliance raised during audit.

Automation :

- The Team Leader is responsible for managing all compliance requirements from project management perspective and also from Software System Management perspective (except for technical aspects which are managed by IT).

- The candidate facilitates all testing requirements during the enhancement of the existing application or during the development of a new application.

- The Team Leader reviews the entire process and provides his input as and when required.

- The incumbent manages all communications related to application development, rolls out knowledge series and FAQs from time to time to keep the users abreast of the changes

Team Management and Motivation:

- The incumbent is responsible to ensure that the team members are motivated and are well versed with the procedures and processes in the bank

- The Team Leader is required to arrange for regular Training of the team members to keep them abreast of the changes in the technology and processes.

- The Team Leader is responsible to Build and groom a team which can cater to the business and operations requirements and also develops to become a strong second line under Unit Head .

BTG Support Vertical - Team Leader ( Branch Support)

User Support & System Education (Brief Job description, Function Level Job description)

- The Team Leader - BPRG along with his team provides Functional support to all user groups under his/her unit's purview for all their needs related to System functionality usage and support.

- From start-of -day till end-of-day support for any functional hand-holding required for the System. This includes resolution of specific functional queries, explanation related to system usage, helping with work-around etc.

- Any errors / system issues including functional, technical, or performance related are reported to BPRG team for resolution. BPRG team in turn resolves such issues - at its own end, or by engaging relevant IT & Vendor teams.

- Supporting of new Enhancement which are supported on the basis of Interaction with User group & Branch Control unit for planning Operational workflows based on system work flow so that Operations can derive maximum benefits with lower processing efforts and better efficiency. Timely updates to bprg Product team on the updated status of all the production issues which were encountered and with proper resolution timelines.

- The team coordinates with Users and central BCP team of the bank to devise BCP strategies for the functions under their scope. Helping User groups in identification & implementation of an operations / process BCP etc. The team also coordinates with User groups to support smooth functioning of business / operations during planned BCP mock-drills or during actual contingency situations.

- In addition to this, the team visits the user groups regularly to understand the operations processes and the difficulties faced at the grass-root level which helps them at the time of trouble shooting.

- Important activities like Day 0 set up, master maintenance, Transaction Flow monitoring, prior information of state / National Holiday maintenance to DPC and SLA monitoring are handled on daily basis and the seniors are informed about the breaches. Coordinating with DPC for System Handover and System Release so that there is not breach in SLA and no impact at OPS end.

Team Management and Motivation -

- Build and groom a team which can cater to the business and operations requirements and also develops to become a strong second line under Unit Head - BPRG. Primary objective is to develop techno-functional resources as a part of the Team who are trained and retained for prompt delivery of solutions to business and operations with Zero Error.

- Training to the team members is imparted at the time of new or enhanced system roll-out so as to enable user issues to understand and use new features of the application and fully understand the related processes. Further, system support is extended to the users as and when queries are received. Even ensured that all the team members are attending the HR Training on regular period. The objective is to ensure that all the team members are well aware of new system feature, Business standards, working environment & Organization need and Support services.

- Timely and accurate MIS for middle and top management on Release Dates of relevant Enhancement / Bugs in the respective systems which plays an important role for organization policy and helps in business to prepare strategies with changing environment. The objective of providing such data could be for Product Sales and Operation efficiency.

Customer Interaction -

- Meeting Operations and product team to understand their requirements to support which can be MIS in specific format or some specialized means of data transfer between client's setup and bank setup. Primary objective is to offer all possible support to business units in sourcing clients with proper coordination with in agreed time line and proper conformation of receipt in place. Ensuring that Customer satisfaction derived by getting desired MIS on time and the seniors are informed about the breaches. This indirectly resulted on the no of clients who has moved business to us based on customized MIS delivered to them.

- There are lot of changes happening in external environment like introduction of new types of clearing, some mandatory RBI Regulatory Requirement, Up to date Knowledge of regulators is required to understand the process and implement the same in the bank with proper support process and manpower.

- Taking feedback on the way forward for new roll outs and provide suggestions and feedback on issues with the Product Team. To update Ops and Business on the developments in case if any query raised to the support team so that steps can be taken in the right direction. Meet clients along with Business and product team to understand their requirements with a view to offer practical solutions and all possible support to business units in sourcing clients.
