Transitions Leader - Digital Process Operations

Position : Transitions Leader

Reporting Structure : Business Head HCL Digital Process Operations (DPO)

Location : Chennai/ Noida

Job Brief : We are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Transition for setting up a new Transition methodology for the LOB. The role is one that calls for a specialist to tackle the challenges of transitions in the new normal (virtual/remote) with delivering the same output within compressed timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Would be responsible for designing, planning and overseeing the transfer of key information necessary in the new normal for the solutions to be deployed into production.

- Ensure knowledge transfers are planned and executed with help of new transition tools, technology & applications in compressed timelines within budget

- Build transition plans including infrastructure/application support models, change management for remote transitions management techniques

- Be responsible for coordinating implementation activities, providing effective team leadership, including information flow to and from operations during project work

- Assess, analyze, develop, document and implement changes based on stages of transition. Monitor the effectiveness of new methodologies and ensures that appropriate recommendations for change are made

- Work with Transition Manager to establish end-to-end project plan and approach. Liaise with business and transformation partners on business case and ROE/M estimates for complex projects

Knowledge & Skills Requirements :

- Experience of transitioning complex projects with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost

- Excellent interpersonal, detail orientation and organizational skills

- Ability to work and team effectively in a networked organization with other management personnel including on a global, virtual basis

- Knowledge of service transition methodology, tools and templates

- Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises

- IT/BPS background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in different project phases

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be able to communicate fluently

- Demonstrates commitment to methodologies, processes and standards for transition planning and support

- Open to work flexible hours to provide support to multiple geographies

Education & Experience :

- Degree in BE, Business Management would be preferred

- Minimum 18+ years in a corporate ITes environment

- Last 5 years experience in a similar transition project management role
