Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 12 years- experience in financial services operations
- 6 years- experience in people management
- Experience in Capital markets working in AMC's broking houses, Registrars/Transfer agents, custodians on the reconciliation side
- Experience in handling Reconciliations operations in BPO's preferable
- Should have experience in managing audits and risk
- Create and use quality service measurement tools to ensure compliance with operational standards
- Good domain skills in the reconciliation processes especially pertaining to Market value recon, Position and Cash Recon
- Experience in matching and allocation, investigation and reviews and good in resolution management
- Devise a clear cut tracking mechanism, log the errors and ensure timely correction of faults so that the recon process adhere to the specified timelines
- Should possess good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Should have basic knowledge of Mutual fund industry and the various intermediaries
- Should be proactive in escalation management
- Knowledge and hands on experience on TLM preferable
- Experience in Quality improvement initiatives
- Understands operational risks and metrics
- Should be ready to relocate to Chennai/Coimbatore and work in night shift
Key Responsibilities / Functions / Role:
- Maintain a controlled operating environment that complies with operational standards
- Perform timely and regular reporting to management
- Manage the team effectively and ensure that the reconciliation is completed within the specified SLA's
- Mentor the team and be responsible for cross training
- Update and follow existing tracking mechanism, log the errors and ensure timely correction of faults so that the recon process adhere to the specified timelines
- Should be willing to work in shifts
Education:
- University degree (B. Com., M.B.A.) in Business majoring in Accounting, Finance, or another Financial-related program. Inter C.A. / Inter ICWAI will be preferred
Skills:
- Ability to manage the team and adhere to strict timelines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and people management
- Capability to detect errors at the early stages in the sub process and provide timely solutions to the team
- Ability to interact with Delivery Managers/ clients effectively and manage SLA's
- Capable of handling meetings with client and team members.
