Senior Data Analyst The Tax team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to help with gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, building, implementing, and maintaining workflow automation and analytical solutions that enable automated reporting and decision-making. This position will require experience using industry-leading BI software to build and support the need for ongoing data-driven work to enhance systems and processes across the tax team, as well as an ability to train non-technical teammates in tool adoption. Responsibilities: - Timely completing data mining, cleansing, and modeling transactional and financial data from various data sources (Oracle, Excel, etc.) that tie to GL account/financial statements. - Write SQL queries against multiple databases (Oracle, Data Warehouse, Snowflake, etc.), focusing on automation/manipulating these extracts in Alteryx, MS Power Query, or MS Power BI. - Prepare data files in appropriate formats for tax compliance purposes and oversee the quality of data deliverables. - Liaise with the teammates on monthly compliance tasks and ad-hoc requests. Requirements: - 3+ years of relevant experience. - Experience working with SQL. - High proficiency using Microsoft Excel; Pivot Tables, Formulas, Charts, and Macro. - Hands-on experience working with MS Power Query, MS Power BI, MS Power. - Automate, MS PowerShell or Python programming language would be an asset. - Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or equivalent.
