1. Define R&D and product development strategy, identify and develop products for upcoming markets/demands

2. Oversee product testing to ensure that all products meet quality, regulatory and customer requirements

3. Manage all IP, Patents and designs

4. Manage BOMs and ensure that product and engineering changes are processed in accordance with QMS and Quality Policy

5. Manage all quality, regulatory and compliance requirements and ensure documentation is up to date in line with requirement

6. Provide technical support across the functions- production, operation, procurement, SCM, finance, commercial and marketing

7. Represent company on business and regulatory bodies. Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments

8. Liaise with customers, commercial, marketing, government bodies to establish and maintain product, technology and regulatory plans

9. Ensure the smooth functioning of technical operations, monitor and evaluate staff progress, assist with training and recruitment, set goals, and ensure overall client satisfaction

10. Excellent technical, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills

11. Understanding of process engineering, lean manufacturing, Product and process development, Knowledge of various Certifications & IS standards

12. Managing diverse range of technical function of manufacturing activities such as Production, QC/QA, Inspection, customer support etc.

13. Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OH & S ISO 45001, ISO 50001 etc.

14. Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients. Very good commercial acumen. Excellent communication, motivational and interpersonal skills

15. B.E. /B. Tech (Electrical, Electrical & electronics/similar disciplines) with around 20 years of work experience in Technical Services (QA, Testing, Design, R&D, Customer Support, Production) of large manufacturing operations. The candidate should be good into employee engagement and customer relationship management having flair of commercial acumen.
