Job Brief: Lead - Legal, Compliance &amp; Advocacy Happy is looking to recruit a legal &amp; compliance professional to join our fast-growing team in an impact led environment. This role will involve handling of all legal, compliance and advocacy related activities. You Will: - Maintain central repository of all legal entity line of business compliance manuals, policies, local legal inventory, and central list of all governing status, regulation, policies and other material related to respective compliance program - Actively participate in management discussions on legal &amp; compliance matters - Engage with business partners on legal &amp; compliance matters - Provide direction and support function to the business functions regarding compliance activities, laws and regulations - Review &amp; report compliance requirements in accordance with the company business model - Responsible for regular updates on regulatory environment &amp; inclusion of compliance - Review confidentiality agreements and vendor agreements - Single point of contact for policy advocacy &amp; representations to the regulators, government and MSME Lending consortiums - Develop policy proposals to be various ministries, networks and associations to support the sector work and initiatives of HAPPY as a Lending Fintech You Have: - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment - LLB/LLM/Doctorate or any combination of relevant education and experience - Knowledge of RBI guidelines along with other regulatory bodies like IRDA - Keen interest to work in the impact, Financial Inclusion &amp; micro enterprise development sector - Preference to candidates with work experiences of 5-10 years with legal firm /VC/Fintech firm Compensation: Industry Benchmarking Location : Mumbai We strongly believe that inclusion fosters innovation and we- re proud to have a diverse team with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.
