Raw Material Procurement Manager
- Responsible for the sourcing, procurement and supplier management for dry fruits & Nuts and other raw material ingredient procurement.
- Establish, negotiate and maintain effective partnerships and contracts between company and vendor partners.
- Responsible for the total quality, continuous improvement, costs, service and value performance of raw material ingredient vendors supplying our manufacturing facilities.
- Develop and maintain ongoing market insight and knowledge on current on all changes associated with the selected commodities, vendors/suppliers, market conditions, economic factors, security issues, tax, and pricing domestically and internationally.
- Work closely with inventory planning and sales/operations planning teams and processes to provide optimal supply levels.
- Partner closely with quality assurance to complete supplier audit and certification process.
- Develop and execute efficient purchase order process.
- Actively engage with Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Marketing in product improvements and new product development processes.
- Track commodity markets and prepare outlook of material rates.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and ensure cost performance goals are met.
- Ensure ingredient supply, production and customer requirement needs are met. Identify and implement lower cost alternatives while meeting commodity quality and specification requirements.
- Support other procurement duties as needed including assisting with packaging, production materials and supplies, transportation, or other product or service procurement as needed.
