- This position will lead end to end logistics function of HFIL. Drive performance, improvement and operations of both up and down stream logistic function. - The role will be required to work with a wide network of cross functional stakeholders to drive the Strategic Business Agenda. - With a cognizance on improving the top and bottom-line performance across the value chain, he or she would be defining and implementing required SCM strategies. - Ensure the fulfillment rate defined by the Management objective is upheld and ensured. Identify opportunities for improvement and drive the same. - Drive and Manage downstream transportation, i.e. from Depot to Distributors. - Lead change management process related to logistics to improve the overall efficiency. Monitoring Vehicle and Driving Utilization on daily basis. - Guide the team to establish / improve Route &amp; Freight planning. - Drive Rate Negotiation, Vendor Development, Finalization of Agreements. - Driving Performance Metrics Indent Vs Placement, Truck Utilization, Transit Time Adherence, Shortage/ Damages Index, Adherence Of 2nd Trip Etc. - Driving Central Replenishment Agenda Across Secondary Transportation &amp; Warehousing Areas &amp; Achieve Best in Class Cost Efficiencies with Highest Level Of Service Targets. - Create &amp; Manage Budgets. Preparation Of Secondary Freight &amp; Warehousing Budget And Align Central Team With That. - Optimize warehouse processes, design and mode of operations. - Ensure stock availability at warehouse. Lead the improvement activities to ensure zero stock outs.
