About GMG -

Gulf Marketing Group owns and operates brands like Nike, Under Armor, Vans, Columbia etc in the GCC and few SEA countries. GMG also owns the biggest sports retailer in the GCC, Sun and Sand Sports. GMG is in the process of building a central ecommerce and omnichannel team which would operate and run the entire ecommerce business for the group across brands and retail concepts starting with the GCC and then SEA. This is a great opportunity to join a startup within a mammoth organization driving transformation across markets

Responsibilities -

- Driving category growth across GCC. Should be able to identify customer purchase trends and fill category gaps.

- Responsible for merchandising, assortment planning, inventory planning & pricing for the category

- Coordinate & influence internal stakeholders to get things done.

- Deep dive, root cause & create action plan for driving sales of the category

Job requirements:

- MBA 2019/2020/2021 graduates with at least 2 years of experience in e-commerce

- Graduates with B.tech/B.com degree and with 3-4 years of e-commerce experience in sales/category can also apply.

- Strong analytical skills, data-driven decision making & sales driven mind-set

- Strong MS Excel skills

- Ability to hustle, take complete ownership & meet delivery timelines

- Excellent oral & written communication skills

- Candidates currently located in India/Dubai are preferred

- Passionate about building & growing categories online

- Prefer candidates who have worked with leading e-commerce firms like Amazon/Flipkart/Myntra in similar role
