GSK - Senior Technical Project Manager (12-15 yrs)

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following.


Responsibilities:


- Responsible for program/project management of key initiatives across GCC Tech function, which can be technology-led, process-led or operations-led.


- Responsible for collating success measures and supporting the operational KPI collation for GCC Tech function

Responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives within GCC Tech Function


- Responsible for setting up and implementing new processes and procedures as per evolving organizational needs - these new processes & procedures may be implemented across GCC or within the GCC Tech function


- Manage the day-to-day activities across matrixed organization in support of driving technology and capability building activities


- Identify improvement/efficiency opportunities across technology and process areas within the tech area serving multiple functions


- Implement review and quality assurance mechanisms to ensure successful execution of goals and stakeholder satisfaction


- Consistently report and review progress to the GCC Tech Capability Lead, steering group and relevant Stakeholders.


- Have a detailed understanding of the GSK portfolio, principles, and company direction and embed these in projects


- Engage in the wider GSK technology functions and community and update the community on learnings


- We are looking for a Sr. Technical Project Manager and if you have these skills, we would like to speak to you.


- Proven ability to project manage complex technology-led projects/programs involving multiple cross-geography stakeholders, with 12-14+ years of overall experience in Engineering/Technology Program/Project Management


- 5+ years of confirmed experience in Program/Project Management, leading cross-entity projects/programs


- Experienced in working with matrixed organizations and driving technology thought-leadership in the same


- Good understanding of GCCs, GCC maturity and GCC functioning


- Good understanding on how technology COEs work, success measures for the same and key KPIs that drive COE success and mindset


- Tech Program management experience in Pharma is a plus, but not mandatory (min requirement is a good understanding of the industry)


- Demonstrated mastery of the technical program management processes and principles


- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional, remote, diverse teams is critical to effectively establish the capability management function


- Previous exposure to technology product development, Agile, DevOps, preferably in a technology COE model. Good understanding of technology COE setup & startup.


- Excellent interpersonal (communication and presentation) and organizational skills


- Good understanding of Agile/ Lean/ 6-sigma principles


- Problem solving abilities and a can-do attitude


- Superb persuading and influencing skills


Preferred qualifications:


- Program management certification (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2)


- Familiarity with Service Management lifecycle (e.g. ITIL)


- 12-14+ years of overall experience in Engineering/Technology Program/Project Management with good understanding of SDLC and Product Development methodologies


- 5+ years of confirmed experience in Program/Project Management, leading cross-entity projects/programs


- Project Management tools and applications such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence


- Good understanding of success measures and KPIs for Technology COEs


- Agile (SAFe/SCRUM) and Lean Six Sigma
