Job Purpose:


GSK is going through a transformation to adopt a data driven strategy, putting our customers at the center of that strategy. We are looking for digital marketing talent that can help us drive this shift to an omni-channel way of working.

The GPMO team is developing new capabilities that will prepare the enterprise marketeers to lead in the future healthcare environment that continues to be disrupted and transformed.


Scrum master role is primarily to support the full team e.g. Regional CX Directors, Content Activation Managers and key stakeholders such as Regions & LOCs to help them to communicate, solve problems and deliver great user journeys for campaigns. The role of the scrum master will be to bring industry agile practices to this omni-channel marketing team leading all Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments and shield them from external distractions. A scrum master is a personal coach for team members and innovators who constantly seek ways to improve team experience and user journey delivery applying design thinking principles & agile marketing.


Responsibilities :


- Guide the team and organization on how to use scrum & agile practices and methodologies


- Oversees scrum process and coaches the team; facilitates transparency, inspection and adaptation


- Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings in a way that ensures full team engagement


- Supports the Regional CX Directors to work with Brands on release planning


- Removes impediments (e.g., cultural barriers, logistic challenges)


- Fosters close cooperation across all team members, encourages cross-training and supporting each other


- Facilitates communication and collaboration inside and outside the team


- Shields the team from external interference and ensures the team is fully functional and productive


- Fosters self-organization and growth within the team


- Generates agile mindset through conversations, coaching, and role-playing exercises


- Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of punishment

Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:


- Bachelor's degree


- Minimal 12 years of experience with digital marketing, agile marketing principles


- Understanding of digital & technology


- Assertive, with the confidence to be voice of authority - not afraid to do what is best for the team


- Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around her/him


- Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace.


- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts


- Able to resolve conflicts within the team before they become an issue - strong mediator


- Active coach and mentor whose goal is to grow and maximize the team's potential
