GSK - Manager - Taxation & Finance - CA

JOB PURPOSE :

To manage the taxation and site finance activities and to provide support to the finance manager in achieving objectives within the framework of company policies. To ensure compliance of all statutory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Entire activities related to Taxation - GST compliances including return filing, payments, reconciliations, handling audits, assessments and litigations pertaining to the state of Haryana, Income Tax compliance.

- Employee Related activities - Expense statement approval

- Planning and monitoring of Fund flow/Cash flow monitoring and monthly Working Capital Report.

- Maintaining Robust Internal Control environment.

- Performing exception reporting, SOP related activities and statutory compliance reporting.

- Guide and Train the subordinate to take independent responsibilities

- Ensuring Monthly Closings and review of Financial Books every month.

- To facilitate internal, statutory & taxation audits of the site.

- Lessoning with advocates / Tax consultants on various tax issues.

- Review of site opex and find out savings opportunities

- Closely Working with functional departments and supporting them achieving the site goals

- Review of site inventory including FG, Spares and Raw Material and proactively engaging with functional departments to achieve Zero write offs

- Critical review of working capital, identifying and removing blockages at various levels

- Taking lead and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure compliances with other regulatory requirements

EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKIILS:

Qualifications :

Chartered Accountant : Mandatory

Experience :

- 7 to 9 years of experience in all aspects of Financial management with specific experience in the field of taxation

- Knowledge of software's like JDE, BPCS, Costing software, HRPS etc.

- Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point

Knowledge of latest developments in finance, taxation - Company law, IndAS, Commercial laws etc.
