Growth Manager - Recruitment Firm (1-3 yrs)
Job Brief:
We are looking for a strong, independent and innovative thinker in the User Growth function. You will be working directly with org leaders within the user growth function to help solve problems related to user lifecycle management. You'll be responsible for identifying the key problems related to new user activation and habit formation, setting the priorities, coming up with solutions and driving implementation in different types of projects. The role requires significant strength in the following domains: problem-solving, consumer research, quantitative analysis and cross-functional execution.
There are primarily four parts to the role:
I) Product:
- Own and deliver projects related to improving our product experience for new users in order to improve our conversion funnel for new user activation and habit formation. This would involve:
- Identify and prioritise key areas of improvement through consumer research and data analysis within
- New user onboarding experience
- In-app communications
- New user shopping experience
- In-app motivation features
- Work closely with our in-house project team to:
- Finalise feature design based on qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Project manage feature implementation
- Analyse the impact of product changes
II) Communications:
- Own and deliver projects related to off app communications and remarketing directed towards new users in order to improve our conversion funnel for new user activation and habit formation. This would involve:
- Defining the overall framework for communications including channels, consumer segments, communication triggers and actions
- Work with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, business etc.) to implement changes in our communications strategy
- Perform ongoing pilots and impact evaluation to support decision making
III) Incentives:
- Own and deliver projects related to user incentives directed towards new users in order to improve our conversion funnel for new user activation and habit formation. This would involve:
- Defining the overall framework for discounting
- Experimenting with new discount frameworks
- Piloting discount frameworks, evaluating impact, and scaling
IV) Conversion metrics
- Monitor and own key metrics pertaining to new user activation and habit formation. This would involve:
- Ongoing monitoring and RCA of metric movement
- Jeopardy / issue management in case of unanticipated or extraordinary events
What are we looking for?
- 1-2 years of total work experience with the following:
- 1-2 years of experience in consulting from top tier firms
- Experience in startups / tech companies in similar roles preferred but not necessary
- Outstanding leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Superior problem-solving and project management skills
- Strong track record with proven growth in your current organisation
