We have been retained by Large Chemical Manufacturing Organization to identify Group Training Head. Role: Group Training Head Reporting to: CHRO Location: Hyderabad Direct Reports: Role Purpose: To ensures that the Organisation is able to drive the People capability development agenda across businesses. - To devise and execute learning strategy for the group - To develop appropriate learning solutions relevant for the business - To Partner with the businesses to shape the Strategic People Agenda across the group Key Responsibilities : - To conceptualize and implement capability building agenda across the group - framework of learning from Culture building perspective, design and deployment of interventions and measures of success - To conduct need analysis and create a learning &amp; development execution plan for the businesses - To define measures of success of capability development investment and ensuring reporting is set up to track these - To drive organization development agenda for the organisation - To design and deploy Senior Leadership Development Interventions - To manage critical talent program - engagement, development and retention of identified critical talent/ HiPots - To design and roll-out of customized development programs for identified groups of talent - To launch and roll-out of innovative interventions designed around reinforcing values - To conceptualize and implement Succession Planning agenda - To create Management Development interventions - Aside from the above core responsibilities, the incumbent will be expected to support other aspects of people philosophy and contribute to relevant strategic initiatives of the HR function. S/he must be a strong, effective team player. Measures of Success : - Intervention success metrics - Participant feedback - Business stakeholder feedback - Project implementation effectiveness against deliverable - Budget management - clear governance structure and audit trails Stakeholders :&nbsp; Internal : - Business sponsors - Subject matter experts within the business or functions - L&amp;D Heads (within Group companies) - Business HR Heads External :&nbsp; - L&amp;OD Consultants / vendors - SMEs Skills &amp; Ability : - Learning &amp; Development (including adult learning concepts &amp; process) knowledge and experience - Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, projects and stakeholder groups; project management, strong consulting and negotiation skills - Must be bright, quick, articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills - Possess independent thought and opinion to provide candor and honesty to support and influence key decisions - Strong understanding of Organization Development concepts, trends and models, with experience of execution of these models including communication and change management - Ability to establish quality relationships, a strong communication link and credibility within the HR team and the businesses through the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and mutual respect - Must have a demonstrated track record of building functional credibility - Ability to prioritize and cope with competing demands. Must possess a sense of urgency and excellent execution and project management skills - Must be a strategic thinker, with the ability to see the big picture, visualize the future and develop and execute relevant functional strategies which add value to our businesses.
