Target Group Manager - Trader Segment

We have an urgent opening with METRO Cash & Carry India for the position of Target Group Manager - Trader Segment in our Marketing function based at Bangalore.

PROFILE REQUIREMENT :

- Full-time MBA (or equivalent) from a top B-school in India preferably IIM /XLRI / SP JAIN / FMS / MDI (2009 - 2005 Batch)

- 3 - 8 years professional work experience in Marketing with at least 2 years experience in FMCG Sales & Distribution.

- Preferably Trade Marketing professionals working in FMCG Sector.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Responsibility to initiate, develop & implement the Customer Target Group Strategy for Trader/ Reseller Segment.

- Initiates, implements and develops the target group positioning process (MCC & Trader) through:

- Understanding of customers, competitors, solutions

- Selection of potential segments and target groups

- Understanding the business, needs and market drivers of the trader target groups

- Develop & Implement Trader propositions (product/assortment, price, promotion and Segment Specific Support & Partnership Programs) to develop METRO's Brand equity in the targeted consumer segment and serve them in a better and more professional way.

- Responsible for evolution , testing and implementation of New Category Building & Business Development Opportunities for Trader Segment.

- Responsible for end to end Customer Lifecycle Management for Target Customer Group - Trader / Reseller Segment.

- Focus on development Strategies & Program on improving the Basket Size & Buying Value for targeted Customer Segment.

- Developing New Store & New Market Expansion Strategy for the Customer Target Group and ensuring execution in line with the investment proposal.

Role will directly report into Head TGM - Trader Segment and have 3 Direct reports to support Central Trader CTG Strategy and South & West Region.
