Group Leader - Synthesis Pigment - Chemical

Job Description :

We are looking for a - Group Leader- synthesis pigment- that holds hardcore R & D Experience in synthesizing and developing new products from lab to pilot scale to production.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Hardcore R & D experience (6-7yrs) in synthesizing and developing new products from lab to pilot scale to production.

- Generate new ideas/thoughts by designing novel synthetic routes for scale-up/process optimization/development.

- Modification/ improvement in existing products/processes as per customer needs and marketing departmental requirements.

- Developing new technologies (environment-friendly techniques).

- Familiar with RMC sheet and volume time cycle (working on alternatives or new raw materials)

- Close coordination with Engineers in technologies transfer, developing alternative raw materials, developing new products/processes

- Process improvement skills

- Sound knowledge of Structural elucidation & interpretation of spectra using NMR, IR, HPLC, GC, MASS Spectra

- Knowledge of literature search with various scientific software

- Conversant with IPR related issues/patent infringement analysis

- Leadership quality

- Training of new employees

- Preparing project reports

- Budgeting
