Group Head - Compliance - Asset/Trade Finance & Forex

To ensure that the Bank is in Compliance with the relevant guidelines issued by RBI and other regulators in respect of the assigned functional areas, including assessing the compliance level through various testing of regulatory line items, new products and processes launched, including system implementation and review of Policies.

- To oversee the applicable actionable created for regulatory guidelines, discussed with the business and control owners, ensuring timely and qualitative implementation

- To guide the team for creating suitable compliance testing plan, conduct testing programmes, assess and identify design / control gaps, initiate remediation plan with the business and control owners, ensure timely and complete remediation.

- To review the processes proposed through Product and Change Management Committee, internal circulars, policies etc. in line with the laid down procedure.

- To provide advisory and timely clarifications on various regulatory matters within the organisation in respect of assigned functional areas, including the correspondences submitted to various regulatory / statutory bodies.

- To validate information provided by various functionaries, with the available records/data prior to its submission to RBI (including items sought during RBS onsite examination)

- To monitor and ensuring timely compliance to the submissions against the observations of regulators.

- To prepare periodical progress report for the Top Management, Board, Board Level Committees and Inspection Reports of the regulators

Criteria:

- Strong background in all aspects of credit (Agri, MSME, Retail, Corporate), trade finance and forex. 10+ years of work experience in Banking/Financial Sector

- 2+ years of Compliance experience or in legal, risk or audit
