Responsible for planning, implementing and managing the overall use of Information technologies within companies ensuring support and security.
We are looking for a CIO to join our team! As a CIO, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and overseeing the overall use of Information Technologies at our company.
As a CIO, you have to have a strong background in information technologies, and they have to be your big passion.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Define Technology and Digital Strategy for Warehousing, Transportation & 4PL Businesses Value Creation through innovative IT Solutions for effective operations resulting in a paradigm shift for our esteemed customers.
2.Instrumental in supporting the Win of large Supply Chain, Warehousing & Transportation deals by demonstrating our strong IT / Digital Capabilities.
3.Build and Operationalise Physical and Technology Infrastructure based on business strategy
4. Work closely with the IT Infrastructure teams to devise the hosting strategies (on premise vs. cloud)
5.Develop and Execute, robust Business Continuity Management Plans
6. Develop tailored training to meet specific developmental needs.
Additional responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for our IT department
- Proficiency in establishing IT services framework and IT security policies
- Ability to recruit and direct IT staff members
- Project management and budget management skills
- Implement new strategies
- Always work to optimize existing strategies
- Set IT department's KPIs
- Measure KPIs on a regular basis
- Hire new key roles for your department
- Review and approve department purchases
- Set department budgets
- Plan and oversee your department's projects
