Group CFO/ Chief Financial Officer(Global) - Media/Market Research/Advertising/PR

We are looking to hire a forward - focused CFO who can help to meet the future through strategic decision making & finding new opportunities for improvement and transformation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Take ownership of financial systems and processes for the Group

2. Drive growth across group through decision making based on tailor-made & continuous financial reports

3. Forecast cash flow and act as a bridge between the Global MD and Regional & Local Leadership

4. Raise funding and improve group - level investments to deliver broader firm level goals

5. Lead negotiations on new ventures e.g., opening new offices, new client contracts, new offers etc.

6. Consolidation & transformation of existing commercial, operations & financial systems to improve

7. Oversee auditing & compliance needs across geographies. Audit itself conducted by Heads of Accounts

8. Team management & Leadership: Lead the South Asia & UPAC team of accountants (approx. 20)

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 12 - 15+ years as VP - Finance, Financial Controller

2. CPA/CA equivalent qualification

3. Excellent understanding of financial accounting and financial management requirements

4. Experience managing a remote and culturally diverse team

5. Experience in pipeline analysis, client terms negotiation and cash flow management

6. Sound track record in setting priorities; sharp analytic, organization & problem-solving skills

7. Prior experience in professional services sector e.g., Agency, Consultancy, Advisory

8. Experience across S. Asia, wider Asia and UK/EU (ideally, also across the US)

9. Ability to qualitative & quantitatively assess financial needs of the business

10. Prior experience in fund raising and having identified investment opportunities

11. Experience in speeding up growth for legacy professional services firms

12. Understand tax and compliance structures e.g., Has overseen cross - country auditing & compliance
