Group Chief Financial Officer - Advertising Firm (15-18 yrs)
Your new role :
This is the Group CFO position, reporting to the Group CEO . This role will lead the group's finance team and will focus on strategic planning, business partnering and overseeing all of the Finance activities of the group, including tax, treasury, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance as well as mentoring and developing finance talents.
Other duties will include:
- Establishing annual budgets and presenting to the Board for approval while controlling for deviations and corrective actions where necessary
- Working to optimize profitability, margins, and optimizing tax planning, financing costs
- Setting processes for a smooth function on the team
- Ensuring sufficient liquidity support for the company needs, negotiating loans with global & local banks
- Ensuring legal and tax compliance as well as correct corporate governance controls in all subsidiaries
What you'll need to succeed :
- You will have a very impressive background in a listed company, with at least 15 years experience in Senior Finance Leadership roles.
-You will be a natural leader and business partner to executive management, with a global perspective and preferably a few years' relevant working experience in a large listed organization.
- Should have worked in a company where he/she should have done some work around restructuring, cost cutting and right sizing.
- Must have good relationships with bank. You will be a polished and professional executive, with excellent communication skills and well-versed in liaising with the highest levels of executive management on a daily basis
