Procurement Head
Job Responsibilities:
- Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports and manage a high-performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions
- Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress
- Overall responsible for Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities across the business and international boundaries
- Initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes
- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Responsible for continuing programs of exploration for new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Procurement Head or in a similar field
- Worked as a leader
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Working experience of relevant software
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving
- A strategic and analytical mind
Educational Certifications:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field
