Grobest - Head - Marketing (12-15 yrs)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The role shall be focused on marketing development, product management and marketing communication.

Liaise closely with Corporate Marketing team and align with Grobest marketing strategy.

Support MIP marketing initiatives and local Sales (Marketing) team to execute marketing strategy and plans

Partnering with Country's GM and Global Marketing Director on the marketing strategy.

Partner and co-work with country GM/NSM for marketing communication implementation and other initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Marketing Development

1.) Information collection and analysis:

- Market size, market share information

- Competition news and market action information Shrimp/ Fish meat price information collection

2.) Market trend estimate, survey and analysis:

- Farming model

- Market segmentation

- Sales channel

3.) Execution plan and follow up status:

- Plan the VCP and follow up

- Monthly marketing meeting coordination

- Execute exposure plan and reward plan

Product Management

- Plan and tracking new product launch program.

- Collect sales team and TS team feedback of products.

- Maintain product portfolio.

- Competitive product information collection includes spec., price, performance and market acceptance. (by quarterly)

- Product positioning checking. (product value proposition, product benefits and price position)

- Find the demand /opportunity from the sales team or market information.

Marketing Communication

- Co-work with Corporate Marcom for local marketing promotional kits and sales tools which include a brochure, leaflet, posters, advertisements, photos, collateral, demo video, souvenir, gifts etc.

- Corporate Communication: Serve as Marcom focal point for internal and external audiences. Coordinate executives as necessary in any given situation. ~Work on message development and communication, including meeting in a box, crisis communication etc

- Support and drive distribution channel growth in collaboration with the distribution team. Manage new product launches through the distribution channels.

- In charge of the website revamp and update; company newsletter (internal & external), digital communicating tools like email campaign, e-newsletter.

- Drive, propose and manage Marcom events, such as industry tradeshow, end-user innovation seminars, customer training (internal & external), new product launch etc. in the countries.

- Media: Plan the local advertising, publication and social media to engage in local market or company image promotion.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education level & Experience

- Bachelors degree/Diploma. A Masters degree would be an added advantage.

- Minimum 10 years operational and marketing communication work experience preferably from MNC (animal feed/food or FMCG/Chemical)

- Strong organizational and implementation track record.

- Team player and self-starter.

- Good spoken and written English, Telugu and Tamil. Knowing Hindi will be an added advantage.

Specific skills

- Able to understand business needs and coordinate with the sales team.

- Ability to organize and coordinate for exhibitions/seminars & training etc.

- Excellent coordination and project management skills.
