About the Role: The operations manager plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant & happy experience for the customer from the time of booking to the time of check-out. The successful candidate will help lead Grexter's efforts in maintaining a culture of service where going the extra mile isn- t the exception, it's the expectation. The operations manager will make sure that the Co-living projects of Grexter have a maintenance of world class standards which sets a new benchmark in the industry for others to follow. The ultimate goal of the Operations manager would be to make sure that the stay of the customer as a delightful one and is reflected in Grexter's ratings across all internal and social media platforms. Roles and responsibilities: - Build the right structure and processes to ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations like building maintenance, repairs, customer service, rent collection etc - Ensure that all co-living spaces are neat, clean and maintained to high standards - Manage all service requests for repairs, maintenance and check-outs - Build and Manage the team of caretakers, technicians, customer support staff and field executives - Handle serious escalations in a professional manner - Troubleshoot maintenance problems and assess the need for external service - Ensure constant communication and feedback with the customers through building reviews and ratings. Make sure the ratings are on a continuous upward curve - Track trends in tickets and service needs to assess changes in our hardware or applications - Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely completion of service/projects Experience: - 5+ years experience in handling operations for a Hospitality/Rental Housing company - Proven ability to handle serious/heated/intense situations with customers in a calm and professional manner - Experience with helpdesk applications and service management software - Highly proficient in all Microsoft applications - have the ability to learn and use new platforms - Ability to liaise in a professional manner with Grexter members, execs and external vendors - Demonstrated high level attention to detail and strong organization skills - Ability to multitask across multiple platforms, departments and cultures when necessary
