Education: - Graduate in B.Com / BBA / BAFM / BBM / or MBA (Finance). - Master's Degree - Preferred but not mandatory Experience : - 1-3 years of experience in U.S. taxation. - Experience in State and Local Taxes (SALT) / Federal Taxes / Partnership / Private Wealth Services (PWS) / Human Capital services (HCS) / International taxation / M&amp;A / Not-for-Profit Taxes / Tax reporting &amp; advisory / Tax reforms. - Experience in doing research on Tax laws and regulations or Tax reforms Role &amp; Responsibilities : - Support multiple business lines within Tax - Contribute research-based Tax technical content (by leveraging Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, Bloomberg BNA Tax and Accounting, Capital IQ, IRS, and other relevant information sources) on the aligned Tax area to develop a robust body of knowledge on the firm wide intranet. Publish new and maintain existing content. Make links between related content items. - Assist with tax research projects. - Develop critical thinking skills to recognize tax issues and apply those skills to manage content in the aligned area - Develop a good understanding of the subject area capabilities - Identify, collect, synthesize, package and deploy knowledge capital that supports assigned knowledge areas. - Understanding of knowledge management principles and methodologies - taxonomy &amp; metadata, content management, community management, knowledge harvesting, etc. - Collaborate with various teams to update web content as per the guidelines. Play a liaison role between stakeholders and various sub-groups within National KM to ensure seamless delivery from INDUS for Tax KM requirements. - Ensure consistent, high-quality service by developing and maintaining dedicated, strong relationships with primary stakeholders of the business line and National KM team members. - Drive the awareness and adoption of KM technologies (i.e., intranet, collaboration, social, etc.) - Engages proactively with the manager and keep them apprised of project status, challenges and issues. - Promote collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and stakeholders. - Participates in team level discussions, contributes and shares insight regarding knowledge and business related discussions/knowledge sharing sessions Project management responsibilities : - Demonstrate time management and prioritization. - Handle multiple projects from implementation to execution under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Perform work independently, with minimal level of review, and is assigned ownership of projects of simple to medium complexity. - Work in a structured and time-bound manner, with adequate documentations and communication. - Stay on top of all assigned projects and initiatives. Delivers projects with a - no surprise- mindset. Take undisputed ownership of the work items that are assigned. Escalates issues as appropriate. - Identify, share and implement leading practices.
