Roles & Responsibilities -

- Assist the team on mergers and acquisition transactions and other specialist advisory engagements that entail financial due diligences.

- Develop an understanding of the Target business: understand the key business drivers and history, product / service offering, competitors, macro and micro economic factors etc.

- Interpretation, evaluation and analysis of information memoranda, business plans, publicly available information on the target business.

- Production of quality deliverables within agreed timescales by displaying good excel and presentation skills and basic analytics skills which include:

- Perform income statement review review and analysis of historic financial data such as trends in revenue, price and volume analysis, operating and non-operating expenses analysis, management and shareholder expenses and other extraordinary and non-recurring income and expense analysis.

- Perform balance sheet and cash flow review - analytical review of net asset position, net working capital requirement, operating and capital leases, capital investments, and analysis of free cash flow, operating, investing and financial cash flow.

- Review of key ratios impacting the business analyse current ratio, interest coverage ratio, receivable/payable/inventory turnover ratio and undertake comparative analysis to understand trends compared to the industry.

- Assist in preparation of due diligence report covering business overview and observations on review of financial statement.

- Identify key observations to assist the team by using critical thinking to review the data and analysis.

Expected profile:

- Qualified CA/MBA

- 0-4 years experience

- Prior experience in a professional consultancy firm is preferred

- Team player as need to be a part of 2-4-member team on engagement.

Skill Set - 

- Strong oral communication skills to undertake detailed discussion with clients management and good report writing and reviewing skills, with an appropriate focus on attention to detail, conciseness and risk management

- Financial Modeling & Research skills

- Strong analytical skills and should be good at structuring thoughts.

- Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects and meet deadlines while working both independently and in a team environment
