Grab - Head - Payroll - CA (10-15 yrs)

Job Purpose:

- Set up, maintain and streamline the payroll process.

- Audit the transactions to match with actual disbursement vs computed data.

- Reconciliation of muster with actual pay-out basis attended record.

- Periodic cash flow reporting.

- Coordinate external audits.

- Timely salary and other pay-out processing.

- Approval management for key pay-out.

- Flag expectations periodically at regular intervals to the management.

- Supervising a team of payroll managers and executives to ensure payroll process is followed, timely disbursement and post salary analysis is done.

Key Responsibility:

- Responsible for the payroll team direction, development, performance, and maintenance within the organization.

- Process orientation for all payouts.

- Reselecting and alignment of payout process as per the business strategy.

- Responsible for allocation and use of the payroll budget.

- Employee and other grievance retraction.

- Cash flow projection to management including actual vs projected variance reports.

- Responsible for the preparation of all payroll activities including payroll payments, reports, and forecasts including tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies and payroll management reports.

- Oversee all accounting procedures and systems used by the organization.

- Assist line manager to assess the long-term payroll trends.

- Review reports and analyzes projections of payroll.

- Smooth running of the team.

- Contribute to the training and development of the team.

- Compensation remodeling as per employee tax-friendly structure.

- Comply with all the payroll financial and legal requirements, responsibilities, and obligations, including statutory obligations.

- Developing strategic plans for team activities to include payroll strategy to achieve agreed targets, and effective planning.

- Maintain accurate payroll, associated financial and other records and activities.
